November, 16, 2018 (ST. PAUL, Minn.) — At its third quarter board meeting, the Patterson Foundation awarded $115,000 in grant funding to nine nonprofit organizations in the oral and animal health fields. The Patterson Foundation focuses its grants on programs that provide dental care to disadvantaged communities and assistance dogs to veterans and people with disabilities. Here are two of our featured grant recipients, along with a complete list here:

$40,000 to America’s Dentists Care Foundation (Wichita, KS) to purchase a forklift and other equipment for their trailers used to transport dental equipment to Mission of Mercy charitable dental clinics across the country. Since 2008, ADCF has helped provide $175 million in oral health care to 260,000 patients.

“Our long history with the Patterson Foundation is a testament to their commitment to ADCF’s mission of facilitating the delivery of charitable oral healthcare to the underserved,” said Bill Blasing, Executive Director. “Without partners like the Patterson Foundation, we couldn’t have the impact that we strive to have in this area of service to those in need.”
